A good quality winter suit helps you fight off the cold-weather blues, and stick it out for a few more hours on the bank. While it may not feel cold when you head out, temperatures can drop very quickly when it’s just you against the elements! Over open water, the wind chill factor is often raised, offering up the potential of knife-like stabs of ice-cold air through zips and under cuffs.

With top quality thermal insulation, microfleece lining on the pockets, collar, and hood of the jacket, and from the knees up on the salopettes, you’ll stay warm and comfortable on even the worst winter days, however long your session lasts.  The jacket hood is removable, which makes this suit ideal for cold, dry days, when you might prefer not to have the edges of your vision obscured by an unnecessary hood, and instead be free to take in the whole span of the river, and make decisions on what techniques and tactics to pursue based on what you’ve seen.  The jacket features a two-way main zip with full baffle, and there is also a high chin baffle, with adjustable bungee cords for an easy, close fit, ensuring all-round warmth and complete comfort, with the wind and weather kept firmly out, and warmth and fishing enthusiasm firmly zipped in.

The jacket boasts an internal zipped chest pocket, which is ideal for keeping licences, permits, and valuables safe and secure, while the salopettes feature elasticated shoulder straps, adjustable boot zips, and easy-on ankle straps. Quick release buckles and elasticated waist panels ensure the salopettes are comfortable to wear, but easy to take off at the end of a session.

Both parts of the suit feature a 5000mm hydrostatic head, and are 3000gsm/24hr breathable, making them fully waterproof, without being clammy, giving you total warmth and comfort over any length of session, and in any weather.
